CYW: Forest Green – Italian + Thuringian Specialties

Part of Colour Your World: Forest Green hosted by Jennifer Nichole Wells.

Thank you for stopping by! 🙂

Do I know what forest greens (plural) look like? You bet I do. But the Crayola colour isn’t one of them. However, not to worry. I can recommend an Italian restaurant that also serves Thuringian specialties. The name of the place, Due Angeli, sounds promising. Or should I say heavenly?

Colour Your World: Fern

Yearn for a fern? Aber gern!

Crayola obviously begs to differ as far as the colour of fern is concerned. Still I stick to my kind of fairn like a stubborn bairn.

The scent of fern makes me yearn for spring – but then again anything green does.

Colour Your World: Granny Smith Apple – t’art pour l’art

Part of Jennifer Nichole’s Colour Your World: Granny Smith Apple

The mere thought of a Granny Smith apple doesn’t make my mouth water. A bite of it even less. My favourite taste in apples is tart, especially for tarts. Makes sense, doesn’t it?

I found no grandmas in my apple collection, probably because it’s not a sort they grow a lot in our area. And I don’t feel like travelling to Australia just to capture them with my camera.

The appletree below boasts an abundance of green leaves, some of which may match the wanted hue. Take your pick! And why not try an apple, too?

Why should one call an apple tart a sweet when it’s made from tart apples? Tar’t pour l’art, that’s what I always say.

Do swans feed on inchworms? They might for all I know. The worms would have found the perfect camouflage here, though. You can see a swan craning its neck here. How is that possible? Shouldn’t it swan its neck instead?
