Porta Gallica – Thursday Doors

Why is this a Gallican door? Because… Porta omnis divisa est in partes tres. And why can I only present this door in three parts, top, central and bottom part? Because of road works it wasn’t possible to take a shot from a reasonable distance. (Aside: Caesar, I really didn’t like your book on that war – I found it utterly boring and sided with your enemies! Too much bragging for my taste. You were a terrible narcissist and Brutus an honourable man.)

  1. A door in three parts. Sounds like some sort of movie or piece of music. 🙂

  2. Some doors are very difficult to squeeze into one frame; I have experienced this a few times myself.
It is a beauty worth sharing 🙂
