This is my contribution to Becca’s weekly photo challenge Sunday Trees 249.
Thank you, Becca – and thank you all for looking! 🙂
An organic meadow orchard [Streuobstwiese] in the middle of a big city…
The fruit-trees aren’t trained like here, but more or less left to themselves, the grass is mowed only now and then to please insects and small creatures. When the fruits are harvested, schoolchildren learn how to make juice. The whole estate, Gut Karlshöhe, serves educational purposes for the environment, healthy living and sustainability. And the bees are happy, too. Don’t you think?
